Crafted in our workshop from solid English walnut, this three peg coat rail highlights the timber’s natural character through a flowing live edge and rich, warm grain. Each rail is cut from prime grade boards and carefully shaped and finished by hand, creating a piece that feels substantial, refined, and built for everyday use.

Three smoothly contoured pegs provide reliable hanging space for coats, bags, and scarves, while walnut’s natural density gives excellent resistance to wear compared with softer woods. Over time the colour will deepen and mellow, adding further depth to the organic edge detail that makes every rail unique.

Rails are cut from outer sections of prime grade walnut boards, so width and thickness will vary depending on the original timber. Please get in touch if you would like clarification on exact dimensions.

Live edge to core timber ratios will vary from piece to piece as each rail is taken from a different part of the plank. We select boards with predominantly core timber for strength and longevity.
